Nerissa Diaz is an experienced professional office manager who joined Freeman and Mills in March 2022. As the Office Manager for Freeman and Mills, she ensures the smooth operation of the firm with her robust knowledge of front and back office management, efficient handling of client inquiries, and timely access to lawyers as required. As an in-house bookkeeper for other firms, she was responsible for A/R & A/P. She uses her organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in a busy work environment, including oversight of IT, HR and Payroll. She is responsible for event planning, coordination of vendors, and supervision of a broad range of office and premises support services.
Prior to joining Freeman and Mills, Ms. Diaz had more than 20 years of administrative experience at several law firms and private investment companies, working as an office manager, bookkeeper and biller. Ms. Diaz is a valuable resource in the office for our staff, as well as our clients.
